MADE IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC these matt AB turquoise glass oblong beads are made by the established glass company Preciosa (prior to that Ornela a state run factory by Jablonex) in the mountains north of Prague.
The shape is great for a variety of beading projects. Whether you are a design student, DIY crafter or jewellery designer you will love the way the flat surface really shows off the finish. Personally we love this bead best embroidered onto fabric as an embellishment. Mix it up with some bugle beads and seed beads to add lots of interesting textures!
They are made literally by stretching a glass cane out to become a long hollow tube. Ideal for bead embroidery, embellishment & craft projects.
