Cloisonne Metal Bead 20x12mm Oval Green Gold

A delightfully delicate floral oriental ornamentation is on the surface of this cloisonne large oval bead which is a similar affect to stained glass windows. They are made using copper wire which is coiled in the required design and soldered on the surface of a metal bead. Coloured enamel is then painted with in the different cells and fired hard before polishing. The exposed copper wire is then plated in gold. These beads are of a superior craftmanship, with vibrant thick coating and even application of enamel. Makes a pretty bold drop earring.
