Handmade Czech Foil Glass Bead 8mm Sapphire

These 8mm sapphire round lampwork glass beads are handmade in the Czech Republic. They are worked over a flame which is supplied by natural gas to generate the heat required to melt the glass. The silver foil is inserted beneath the top layer of glass which gives it a lovely sparkle.
Variations in colour and pattern is natural to the production process.
