Handmade Sommerso Glass Slab 16x25mm Pumpkin Clear Small

These handmade lampwork slab glass beads are made using the "Sommerso"

technique which in Italian means submerged. This technique creates a

layered appearance where one coloured layer of glass is covered by

another layer of differently-coloured glass. This effect is achieved by

repeatedly dipping a glass object into molten glass of another colour.

This technique was invented in Murano in 1930's.
