Mixed Baroque Vintage Glass Beads Black 12mm

Original vintage glass beads. These 12mm baroque shaped round beads with through holes are made of a unique type of multicolour "end of day" glass on an opaque black background. " End of day" glass was the result of using up the remaining molten glass at the end of the day  . It therefore tended to be a mixture of all sorts of colours.The material produces a variation in pattern from bead to bead, and no two colour mixes are exactly alike. 

Made in Germany in the mid 1960s.
