Polymer Patterned Millefiori Bead Round Black 15mm

These colourful Millefiori polymer clay beads have a deeply patterned floral matt surface. Polymer clay is a manmade medium that is lightweight, durable, and incredibly versatile, making it perfect for all jewellery-making applications.
Millefiori, which is Italian for "thousand flowers," was originally a technique used for making decorative glasswork in Venice. A similar process can be used to create intricate designs in polymer clays like Fimo.
Using the Millefiori technique, a long tube (or cane) of polymer clay is created in an intricate, multicoloured flower pattern, where each slice is a copy of the original design. While it is a labour-intensive process, the results are well worth the effort. These beads are made in China.
