Whether it is long kaftans, colourful embroidery, ropes of chunky turquoise beads, talismans and medallions, a suede cowboy hat & boots ... all were layered colourfully and playfully together. This is the backdrop to which I was born and is inspired by jet set travel and the desire to capture the moody, glam, freedom and adventure of the 60s and 70s. I have childhood memories of my fashionable grandparents and hippie aunts globe trotting to far flung places which imbued in me a life long love of effortless glamour and travel.
